At Renshinkan we teach a hard, fast style of karate known worldwide as Shukokai, and we are dedicated to making your karate experience enjoyable and rewarding.

Our karate training will increase your personal physical fitness whilst at the same time improve your self-defence capabilities.

Renshinkan Shukokai Karate-do is affiliated to Japan Karate-do Shuko-kai International and Karate Kai Scotland, who is registered and in membership of the Scottish Karate Governing Body.

Where to train

We train at two locations. Club membership entitles you to attend sessions at any one - Castlehill Primary School and Mosshead Primary School, both locations in Bearsden.

Who will teach me?

It is most important to start correctly with a qualified and registered instructor; all the instructors at Renshinkan are all highly qualified and have many years experience in teaching karate.

All our instructors have:-

Full Indemnity Insurance.

Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Certification.

Hold an Instructor's licence.
