Profile

Sensei Lindsay started his studies of Shukokai karate in January 1972.

He has been fortunate to have trained under exceptional top Japanese Instructors that possess a profound understanding of the true meaning and application of Shukokai.

A competent and caring instructor, Sensei Lindsay has many years of experience in personally training students from absolute beginner to black belt and beyond.

Lindsay has been an active competitor participating in national and international events. In 1999 he travelled to Japan to celebrate Shukokai's 50th anniversary and to compete in the Shukokai World Cup, and has since returned to Japan to participate in instructor training and development with some of Japan's leading Shukokai Instructors.

It is this knowledge, which he brings to his instruction along with a demanding training discipline, which helps students gain an exceptional level of technical ability and intellectual understanding of the art of Karate-do.
